Program Description

Event Vikings is an event ticketing platform. When you purchase tickets through our platform, you may opt in to receive SMS (text) notifications related to your ticket purchase and event attendance. These are transactional messages to ensure you receive important, time-sensitive information about events you have purchased tickets for.

How You Opt In (Consent)

During the ticket checkout process on Event Vikings, you are asked to provide your phone number and are presented with an explicit SMS consent checkbox. You must actively check this box to opt in to SMS notifications. The checkbox is not pre-checked — SMS messaging is entirely opt-in.

This consent checkbox appears on every checkout on the Event Vikings platform, including on custom-domain event pages hosted by promoters. Users who do not check the box will not receive any SMS messages.

Types of Messages

Order Confirmations — Confirmation of your ticket purchase with order details.
Event Reminders — Reminders before your event with time and venue details.
Schedule & Venue Changes — Notifications if the event date, time, or venue changes.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your ticket purchases and event activity. Typically 1–5 messages per event.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:

Replying STOP to any SMS message from Event Vikings.
Contacting us at support@eventvikings.com.

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact support@eventvikings.com.

Data Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Your phone number is stored securely and is collected solely for the purpose of sending transactional SMS notifications related to your ticket purchases and events as described above.
